Hi Guys

I was wondering if anyone knew of a possible way/script that will do pretty much the same thing as the scheduler.xml? We moved to a new host and they cannot find whats wrong with ours. Its not even giving any errors.

I basically want to have a message about donations and restarts scrolling in the main chat every hour or so. I do have a script that puts it up in the top right hand corner the same as missions but wanted to put it in chat as well.

Thanks

So then simply edit Your script do use "rGlobalChat" instead of "rHint" and remove all line breaks \n

Or use one of my Scripts I postet below:

Here is an example of a clientside Script:

And here is the same but as a serverside Script:

Hi Kilo

Thanks heaps for that. I got it running client side no problems but problem with that is that it comes up as  message in global from the actual player. Most players will more than likely ignore it or not see it.

I tried to get it to run serverside hoping it would be different but couldnt get it to work.

Do i just call it like this.

[] execVM "server\messages.sqf";

and placing the messages.sqf in the root of the server folder?

Thanks

The Serverside Version is not testet, so if it does not work, check the arma2oaserver.rpt.
Where You put this file is up to You, just use the correct path to it!

Also for the clientside Script, you can change this line
player globalChat format ["%1",_nachricht];

To use another Channel what will actually display the messages in a different Colour.
